The first EU AI Grid node is live in Lithuania

In January 2026, Embedded LLM and Telecentras formalized their partnership in Vilnius, marking the launch of the first EU AI Grid infrastructure node.

This was the first step in turning sovereign AI from strategy into operating infrastructure: trusted local capacity, clear jurisdiction, and the foundation for a broader European AI Grid.
